OpenAI расширяет программу Daybreak, но заявление о GPT-5.6-Cyber не подтверждено

Codex Security plugin — Codex Security is now a plugin that lives directly inside Codex (the coding agent), not a separate product requiring a different workflow. Teams can run deep vulnerability scans, validate findings, trace attack paths, build threat models, generate codebase-specific patches for review, and export results into existing security tools — all without leaving their Codex environment. GPT-5.5-Cyber: full release — The model moves from preview access to general availability for trusted defenders. OpenAI describes it as "our most capable cyber model yet, designed for advanced, authorized defensive work: tracing vulnerable code, validating issues, developing patches, and preparing evidence for human review." [...] The stated goal is simple: accelerate cyber defenders and continuously secure software. ## What Codex Security does Codex Security is the product manifestation of Daybreak. Daybreak is built to accelerate that full remediation loop, working with the world’s leading cyber organizations as partners to bring trusted defensive capability into the tools, services, and workflows security teams already rely on. Through Codex Security, Patch the Planet, GPT‑5.5‑Cyber, and the Daybreak Cyber Partner Program, developers, maintainers, researchers, enterprises, and public institutions can turn frontier AI capability into measurable risk reduction. [...] # Frontier AI for defenders. ## Building the future of cyber defense OpenAI Daybreak brings together frontier cyber models, Codex Security, trusted workflows, and ecosystem partnerships to help defenders keep pace with an accelerating threat landscape: finding, validating, and fixing vulnerabilities before attackers can exploit them. The bottleneck in cybersecurity is shifting. AI can now help uncover more security issues across large, complex codebases, but reports alone do not make systems safer. Real protectio
