OpenAI product lead Tibo Sottiaux just announced another quota reset for all paid subscribers. The reset eases strict usage caps on Codex, OpenAI’s dedicated AI coding agent, and ChatGPT Work, the specialized task-handling interface. Both are powered by the advanced GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra model. These tools help professionals with everything from writing quick scripts to executing massive codebase refactors, but high demand from over 10 million active users frequently drains user quotas within hours. OpenAI has to issue these resets as a regular event to keep workflows moving. The announcement drew mixed reactions. Many users celebrated with comments like “Weeeeeeeee. It’s a good day!” Others called for more predictable, static limits. [...] Log In Sign Up aiference's profile picture Never miss a post from aiference Sign up for Instagram to stay in the loop. It's not a formal schedule, the community just calls any extra free refill a "Tibo reset". 1 Log in or sign up for ThreadsSee what people are talking about and join the conversation. Those are three too many and we are taking active steps for them to not reproduce. I have reset usage limits for Codex across all paid plans.
