Image [...] @yangyongyongyong yangyongyongyong opened on May 7, 2026 Issue body actions ### Self Checks / 自检 I have read the FAQ section in README. I have searched for existing issues,

若要進行全域設定，請開啟 ~/.codex/config.toml 檔案。 👍 May be an image of text that says '</> 在 Codex 中為 GPT-5.6 GPT-5.6Sol開啟 Sol 開啟 真正的1M 真正的 1M Token 正的1MToken上下文視窗 上下文視窗 官方預設已在效能與成本同取得平衡， 但若有需求 可 可手时開故更大的上下文状 全域設定 ~/.codex/config.toml GPT-5.6 Sol 官方親格支援 1,050 1,050,000 000 Token mode

# Tibo on X: "Here is how to enable a 1M-token context window in Codex for GPT-5.6 Sol. Even though we have tuned the context limit in Codex to be set optimally when it comes to performance and cost, this is a common ask, so here it is documented. A larger context window lets Codex retain more code, tool output, and conversation history before summarizing older material. You need a model that supports it. And GPT-5.6 Sol, for example, has a documented 1,050,000-token window. Open ~/.codex/config.toml and add or update these settings at the top level, before any [section] headers: ``` model = "gpt-5.6-sol" model\_context\_window = 1000000 model\_auto\_compact\_token\_limit = 900000 ``` The first setting selects the model. The second tells Codex to use a one-million-token context budget. [...] Here is how to enable a 1M-token context window in Codex for GPT-5.6 Sol.
