Another request for Official Linux Desktop App. You can release it as an AppImage for portability. I use ChatGPT for complex projects and the browser becomes unusable pretty quickly and the Chrome addons don’t always work, so you have to create new chats all the time to continue your work, and that requires a LOT of explaination in the new chat to catch it up. It would be great to have ChatGPT available as a native Linux application, or even as a CLI tool for terminal use. I currently use Gemini CLI due to the lack of a ChatGPT alternative in this space. And that is my main concern: I am afraid too many people want to let it do the work for them rather than use it to help them work better and do better work. Your concern is valid. And also it’s true the majority of people using AI today already use it in a lazy or wrong manner. So that they can work and actually think LESS. When used correctly you should be able to accomplish far more and also have think even more because you attack projects and niches you previously wouldn’t even think twice about attempting.
