OpenAI Consumer Product Lead Adam Fry announced a multi-feature update for ChatGPT on X. The primary focus of the release is a deeper integration with Google Drive. Users on paid plans can now select the plus button in the prompt field to add files directly from their cloud storage into the ChatGPT Library. Once a document is connected, the chatbot can open and modify it directly. Changes reflect in the actual source file rather than a static copy.
