Проект сопровождается масштабным опросом более 10 000 граждан США, чьи ожидания сопоставляются с теоретическими сценариями.
Модель рассматривает диапазон вариантов развития — от умеренного роста эффективности до глубоких структурных потрясений. В наиболее радикальном сценарии объем экономики может увеличиться примерно на треть по сравнению с базовым уровнем, однако безработица среди работников интеллектуального труда рискует приблизиться к 18%, а доля доходов наемных сотрудников существенно снизится в пользу владельцев капитала. При этом медианные ожидания опрошенных соответствуют более умеренному сценарию с приростом ВВП около 10% и уровнем безработицы в районе 5%.
В Anthropic подчеркнули, что модель носит упрощенный характер и не учитывает возможные регуляторные контрмеры, циклические спады в экономике, а также эффект спроса от масштабного строительства дата-центров. Цель исследования — предложить экспертам и законодателям ориентиры для оценки вызовов, которые автоматизация ставит перед рынком труда.
