Seedance 2.5 User Guide Reportedly Details Long-Video and Multi-Reference Controls

Chinese reports and social posts describe longer video generation, multi-reference inputs, timestamped prompts, and localized edits for Seedance 2.5. The claims remain unverified because the available evidence is mostly secondary and one platform says the model has not officially launched.

A user manual and prompt guide reportedly linked to Seedance 2.5 are circulating across Chinese social media and technology publications. The materials are said to cover upload limits, new interface entry points, scenario-based prompt structures, and ways to describe shots, actions, and emotional changes with timestamps and numbered references. Some reports claim the model can generate clips of up to 30 seconds and extend them into longer sequences.

The reported upgrades include combining many image, video, and other reference assets, making targeted changes to an existing result, and accepting prompts in multiple languages. Examples focus on a storyboard-like workflow that combines camera movement, character actions, timing, atmosphere, and sound direction to make video generation more controllable.

However, the current evidence consists largely of social posts, republished articles, and third-party platform pages. One such page explicitly states that ByteDance has not officially released Seedance 2.5 and that some details are speculative. Release status, limits, availability, and the authenticity of the cited “official guide” should therefore be confirmed through ByteDance or Jimeng announcements.

## 序章：即夢seedance2.0有多強？
