@team I don’t see any reason why we can’t put back Nitter as it is now maintained again. Thoughts? Sometimes, I don’t want to post here as people seem often negative. Why can’t we cheer an OSS project is back? Did you even read my OP? Nitter is back by the main dev along with his website nitter.net Yes, but the point here is for how long? Its been like a week. Its a notoriously unreliable service. Pump the brakes. having an instance serving everyone with no downtime, as was tge case with XCancel You mean the instance that advocates for people to self-host and not rely on them because “Those can stop working at any time on the decision of the social network behind.” I don’t want to post here as people seem often negative. Why can’t we cheer an OSS project is back? Sam Altman just gave every Codex user a free pass. To celebrate 3 million weekly Codex users, OpenAI is resetting usage limits for everyone. And it’s not a one-time thing. They’re going to do this every single million users until they hit 10 million. → 3M users now? Reset. → 4M users next? Reset. → 5M, 6M, 7M, 8M, 9M, 10M? Reset, reset, reset, reset, reset, reset, reset. That’s 7 more usage resets baked in. Just for hitting growth milestones. The hidden message: OpenAI is giving Codex away to fight Claude Code.
