Z.ai reports a major app-development jump for GLM-5.2

Z.ai says GLM-5.2 completed 48 of 70 trials in an internal mobile-app benchmark, compared with 21 for GLM-5.1. The test covered 35 challenging tasks, each run twice.

Z.ai has presented GLM-5.2 as a model built for long-horizon work, with stronger coding and agentic capabilities. In an internal mobile-app development benchmark, the company reports 48 successful trials out of 70 for GLM-5.2, versus 21 for GLM-5.1. The posts also list 56/70 for a model called “Claude Fable 5.”

The benchmark was conducted by Z.ai and defined success as having core features work without major issues. Because the full task set, evaluation procedure, and independent replication are not publicly established in the cited material, the figures should be treated as vendor-reported rather than general proof of superiority.
