Removing the “AI Feel” Does Not Make Writing Truly Human

Khazix’s open-source khazix-writer Skill uses style rules and layered checks to make generated articles sound closer to a specific writer. In practice, AI is more useful for translation, research organization, structure, and brainstorming than for replacing human judgment and perspective.

People often dislike generic AI-written prose while simultaneously searching for prompts and Skills that can make it sound more human. Khazix’s open-source khazix-writer is built around that tension. It tells the model to avoid stock phrases, excessive structure, and certain punctuation habits, then applies several rounds of review to move the draft closer to a target author’s voice.

That approach mainly addresses mechanical features of style. It cannot guarantee that a piece will remain indistinguishable from human writing, especially when unusual word choices, overly tidy narratives, or a lack of lived detail become visible on a later reread. The supplied material does not include a standardized benchmark or controlled evaluation, so the Skill’s ability to remove an “AI feel” remains largely subjective.

A more practical workflow is to keep AI in a supporting role. A writer can first produce a rough, disorganized draft, then use a model to improve transitions, test the structure, identify omissions, or suggest alternate versions. The writer still makes the final choices and rewrites the piece, preserving the original ideas while reducing the time spent on organization and polishing.
