阿里云OpenAI is reducing GPT-5.6 Sol API and eligible credit pricing for three months. Standard short-context rates are reported to fall from $5 to $4 per million input tokens and from $30 to $20 per million output tokens.
OpenAI says the temporary reduction applies to the GPT-5.6 Sol API and is rolling out to eligible credit plans for ChatGPT Work and Codex. The offer is scheduled to last for three months, with availability dependent on plan eligibility.
Under the reported standard short-context rates, input pricing drops from $5 to $4 per million tokens, while output pricing falls from $30 to $20 per million tokens. The effective saving for a particular workload will therefore depend on its input-to-output mix.
Usage and pricing for Pro, Plus, and Business subscriptions remain unchanged. The measure is aimed primarily at developer API traffic and qualifying credit-based product usage.
