MiniMax H3 hailed as an open-weight model reaching “sd-level” quality

This voice experience is generated by AI. Learn more. Chinese company Minimax has unveiled H3, a new AI video generation model creating sound-enabled 2K videos up to 15 seconds. H3 boasts multimodal understanding, integrating text, images, audio, and video via components like Contextual Omni Representation, H3-VA, and H3-Omni Transformer. Its In-Context Regeneration refines output for high resolution. Minimax plans open-weight development to foster community and hardware compatibility. However, H3 is currently unavailable in major markets including the UK, EU, US, and South Korea, citing evolving AI regulations and copyright concerns for generative video. H3 positions itself as a competitor to leading tools from Google and OpenAI. [...] “Closed-source models have long dominated video generation, with slower iteration and a less open ecosystem than fields like large language models. To support the open-source community, accelerate compatibility with a broader range of AI hardware, and

### The industrial model assumes learning happens inside school buildings, in discrete subjects, on fixed timelines. H3 envisions something different: learning ecosystems that connect schools, workplaces, and digital spaces. ### Community Ecosystem Schools must function as part of broader communities, integrating apprenticeships, internships, and project-based learning. ### Competency-Based Education Competency-based education must replace seat-time requirements, allowing students to progress based on mastery, not arbitrary timelines. ### Technology Embedded Technology should amplify human learning, ensuring AI and automation support personalized, inquiry-driven learning. #### Key Takeaway Learning shouldn’t be confined to classrooms—it should happen anywhere, anytime. H3, a Taiwanese technology company, harnesses the island's high-tech resources and talents to address the escalating demands of data processing in a rapidly expanding landscape. Recognizing the transformative potential of composable infrastructure, H3 is committed to developing solutions that enhance device flexibility and optimize device utilization to reduce enterprises and cloud service providers' Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). By developing resource management systems by integrating diverse vendor products and solutions, H3 aims to accelerate data technology development through heterogeneous computing. With a legacy dating back to 2016 and three generations of products, H3's journey as an industry pioneer continues, now focused on advancing CXL 2.0 switch software and CXL 2.0 Memory [...] HPC and Enterprise computing. With the same vision as OFMF, integrating with OFMF will be H3's next great stride to serve more end users to more efficiently utilize the memory resources with the c

Table 7 presents the regression results for five variables: Intelligent Technology Level, Depth of Intelligent Technology Application, Software Informationization Level, Hardware Informationization Level, and Innovation Ability (columns 1–5). The regression results show that the interaction terms between the moderating variables and the policy dummy variable are significantly positive. This indicates that the “Broadband China” demonstration cities not only promote enterprise intelligent transformation and informationization but also enhance innovation capabilities, which in turn boost the new quality productivity levels of enterprises. These findings support the hypotheses H1, H2, and H3, confirming that the “Broadband China” initiative effectively contributes to higher levels of [...] H1: The “Broadband China” demonstration city pilot can enhance new-type productivity levels by improving enterprise intelligence. @RenLeanna Aug 3 Replying to @ostrisai We put explanations in the license that there are no regional restrictions. However, in the EU we follow conventions similar to LTX and Hunyuan; while in the US, due to local laws and regulations and the ongoing legal situation with Disney, users are required to complete an 73K user avatar MiniMax (official) @MiniMax\_AI Aug 4 The road to AGI was never meant to be traveled alone. From Hailuo 01 to H3, we've been incredibly lucky to build alongside so many friends, partners, and fellow builders who believed in the same thing we did. That's why we open-sourced H3.
