Claude user says subscription vanished after account reinstatement, later receives a refund
An X user said their Claude account was restored after an appeal, but the existing subscription was missing. The user requested three months of premium access and later reported receiving a refund instead.
X user Xiaohu said Claude had suspended the account and reinstated it about a day after an appeal. The user stated that the account was used for routine coding and content writing, but the subscription benefits were no longer available after access was restored.
The user then asked Anthropic for three months of a high-tier “20x” membership as compensation, framing the request as a possible attempt to push their luck. In a later update, Xiaohu said the membership request was not granted, but a refund was issued and the outcome was considered reasonably satisfactory.
Other Chinese-language communities and forums have published separate accounts of Claude suspensions, rate limits and subscription irregularities. Those reports are anecdotal or second-hand and do not establish that Anthropic has a single publicly confirmed policy behind all of the incidents.
